More importantly onhand is to setup the openvpn for SK to tunnel thru, so he can play MS when he's back in China! hehehe
Much would need to be considered if i was to host the server on my gw or on VR which is in PI lor. It would also mean anyone who knows the secret keys would be able to tunnel thru n use VR/gw to connect for other purposes lor...
My self wise, i would be more interested in the skype gateway solution, in which it would allow me to forward skype calls to my mobile phone =)
Since my incoming is free ;-) hehehe
Of coz the skype gateway would also enable me to make calls from my mobile to skype users direct lor.
Sounds cool eh? hehe now just wonder how much would the gateway cost...
The only downside is the gateway needs to be connected to a windows system -_-"
Other techie todo stuff is mainly based on linux projects which i've been like procastinating on lor ;p
The mythtv PVR is more of a media centre pc thingie so i could play all video formats onto my living room tv la =)
I'm only missing a critical component, a region free DVD-ROM drive -_-"
(oops i forget to mention the bluetooth mouse la hehe)
Of coz the never ending security stuff needs to be done la, on top of the other linux networking stuff x__x sounds like alot of work is needed le ~__~
